Supporting Personalized Learning Through Project Based Learning

Worksheets and multiple choice tests are not effective ways for students to demonstrate their understanding of curriculum. With Project Based Learning, students are able to demonstrate understanding in ways that are meaningful and personalized to them. Student engagement increases when they have more agency in the classroom and Project Based Learning is one of the best ways to support student agency. Through examples of students from across curricular areas, this presentation will showcase the power of Project Based Learning in supporting personalized learning.

“A worksheet will never be better than Student Agency which allows for Voice and Choice..”

Beyond the Poster Board

The poster board is one of the staples of many classrooms that have students create projects.
